Screw Presses:

Mecolpress manufactures screw presses under three different marks: Dellavia, Osterwalder and Mecolpress.

Each of them is characterized by special design and own construction elements; therefore it is possible to propose the most suitable solution according to the specific needs of the customer, on the ground of the drawings of the parts to be forged.

Materials forged on the screw-presses are brass, aluminum, copper and steel; the parts can be solid or cored and stamped one, two, three or four at a time.

All screw presses are provided with rigid cast frame having high stiffness; the screws, representing the most strongly stressed mechanical component, are made of alloy steel with high endurance strength. PLC controls the machine, its functions and all alarm situations, granting max. Safety, productivity and reliability.

Machines are arranged for working in manual, semiautomatic or automatic cycle; automation can be pneumatic or electronic type.

Automation:

Automation made by Mecolpress is designed according to the different types of presses and screw presses and the specific needs of the customers. Main features are precision, repeatability and fastness of movements. Mecolpress machines can be also automated through any robot made by other national or foreign manufacturers.

Sub-Presses Stamping System:

• PM: Die-holder for stamping with fixed or mobile die, through vertical extrusion.
• GE: Unit for horizontal extrusion with four fixed punch-holder slides
• GE/I: Unit for horizontal extrusion with three fixed punch-holder slides and one swinging punch-holder slide.
• GE/2I: Unit for horizontal extrusion with two fixed punch-holder slides and two swinging punch-holder slides.
• GEU: Unit for horizontal extrusion where all the punch-holder slides are swinging.
• EV: Unit for vertical extrusion with bell clamp.
