Fredrick P. Manske President/Owner
Fredrick P. Manske, with his father Patrick Manske, founded Manske Machinery, Inc. in 1989. For the past 26 years, Fredrick has been involved in new and used Machine Tool sales beginning in the State of Wisconsin, and the Upper Peninsula, and later expanding to include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and nationwide for used machinery sales.
Growing up in New Berlin, Wisconsin with five siblings, Fredrick's aptitude for entrepreneurship and acumen for things mechanical was apparent early. Ambition and a strong work ethic were also apparent, and like all the Manske children, he was working after school, weekends, and summer vacations. At the age of thirteen for the following 3 years, Fredrick had a Lawn and Snow removal service with all commercial accounts solicited from local businesses. He organized his labor force by recruiting his brothers and sister for shoveling duties. Also, for a small fee, he repaired lawn movers for neighbors from the family garage.
Fredrick graduated from New Berlin West High School where his strong interest in manufacturing equipment began. In high school, he enrolled and excelled in all Machine Shop classes offered. In his senior year of high school, he began working towards a Marketing Degree by attending WCTC College in Waukesha Wisconsin, which he successfully obtained.
During the high school and college years Fredrick began working in the families apartment businesses, skillfully providing maintenance, and efficiently meeting deadlines on the set up of vacant units for re-rental purposes, for an Uncle and his father.
Immediately upon his completion of WCTC Marketing degree, for the next 7 years Fredrick began to work as a Junior Sales executive, selling capital equipment for JJM Machine, Inc. owned by yet another Uncle. At the age of 22 he was introduced to Toshiba Machinery, which began fortunous business, and rewarding personal relationships that to this day continue and grow.
Patrick H. Manske founded Manske Machinery, Inc. in 1989 with his son, Fredrick P. Manske. In its infancy, the company was truly a "family business" with its only other employees at that time being another son, William Manske and daughter, Cary Manske who both still work in sales and management capacities today.
Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Patrick served honorably in the U.S. Air Force. During this time, at the age of 18, he attended Parks Air College in Saint Louis, Illinois part of the Saint Louis University (Missouri). Upon his honorable discharge from the Air Force, his rank was Technical Sergeant serving as Crew Chief for the 176th Fighter Squadron.
Patrick's early career in the manufacturing industry began with an apprenticeship Tool & Die Maker that he completed in four and a half years. To further his education, he attended numerous Engineering, Design, and Sales courses and seminars, and served in the capacity of Lead Man for 12 years at various Milwaukee manufacturing companies. In addition, he represented employees as a Union Stewart and served as spokesman for management.
His early ambitions and interest in a sales position, lead to 25 years employment with Production & Equipment, Inc. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His dynamic personality proved him to be a natural in the sales field. Initially hired as a Sales Representative, he successfully achieved record sales, and incentive awards, which resulted in being named Vice President of Production & Equipment, Inc., Patrick served in this trusted position until the start up of his own company, Manske Machinery, Inc.
Patrick is the proud father of six children and active grandfather of six. He is a certified P.S.I.A. ski instructor, who enjoys a good game of tennis. When his busy schedule allows travel, his plans usually include pursuing these sports and activities with his children or grandchildren.
