Our transfer machines can be used for complex 2 to 5 sided machining in one clamping.

FMU® machining units
All our transfer machines are installed with FMU® machining units driven by recirculating-ball screws. By eliminating problems related to oil (hot and cold) and filters, this choice has helped us to reduce friction considerably, reach a high level ofprecision of movement and repeatability and finally, increase the degree of reliability compared with traditional hydraulic solutions or ones with solenoid valves.
We were the first way back in 1984 to take a chance with this transfer machine movement system and were also the first to abandon hydraulic operating more than twenty years ago.
Rotary tables
We have designed all the rotary tables we use. This enables us to be one step ahead of market development and the needs of our customers. We were thefirstbrushless motors for rotating and in the table lock/unlock device (system patented by Porta).
On the cutting edge of performance, our tables have a rotation speed of only 0.16 s.
Tables of up to 2300 mm in diameter fitted with constantly moving CNC rotating clamps or plates provide more flexibility than traditional transfer machines and can be used to machine different parts belonging to the same family. company to use
Machine base
The base also makes a significant contribution to the high performance of our machines in terms of reliability, duration, speed and precision. For this reason, it has been subjected to constant research using the experience gained over the years and the most advanced 3D design systems.. The base of our transfer machines consists of thick steel sheets soldered together to form a single rigid element. It undergoes a normalization procedure and stringent analysis including the Finite Element Method (FEM) in order to guarantee rigidity and strength. It is conceived following an ergonomic logic that makes the unit easy to access and use for the operator.

Speed and reliability:
The main cause of satisfaction is the perfect balance between speed and exceptional reliability of the part loading device which makes the TRV fast an extremely competitive machine that has virtually no rivals with the same characteristics. These characteristics can be seen above all in the table with a rotation time of 0.16 s which also maintains a HIRTH coupling table locking system that improves its precision. The machining units are conceived to use acceleration to the full rather than speed. This is a difference that is all the more important when there is limited stroke space.
Part loading/unloading:
Studies on the performance of transfer machines carried out in collaboration with our customers, have shown that, irrespective of the manufacturer, it is the part loading system that is the weak link in a production chain since it is responsible for frequent and often prolonged machine down time that affects the overall performance of the machine. This is why we have designed a part loading/unloading device for the TRV fast series with CNC automatic interlocking that replaces the classic pneumatic movements and special acceleration/deceleration ramps. This results in the elimination of all machine down time caused by the need to service pneumatic loaders (maintenance of air passage tube, adjustment of valves, regulating of decelerators or limit switches, etc) and increased reliability. It is set up using only software. The only intervention required is replacement of the pincers which occurs using a quick change system.

The TRV series models belong to the family of vertical axis transfer machines. They are suitable for production systems that require maximum flexibility. The layout is suitable for configurations of up to 15 stations with 36/38 machining units whilst still maintaining operator accessibility.
Rotation of the 2300 mm diameter table is numerically controlled. Combined with a special lifting system and hydraulic balancing, rotation locking/unlocking can be performed in only 0.94 s – a record for a table of this size
